Responsibilities:

  1. Key Account Management:
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Identify and understand customer needs and provide appropriate product solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to continuously improve products and services.
  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Collaborate with the management team to set sales targets and define strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, and consultants.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company products and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
  1. Sales Team Management:
  • Provide support and guidance to the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture within the team.
  1. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with the laboratory and cleanroom industry is a plus.
